My Personal Nutrition/Health Story
As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist & Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT), I utilize a few different functional diagnostic testing methods which help me create an individualized nutrition therapy plan for each of my clients. I will help you find foods that work for you, not against you!
How did I get here? I suffered from headaches, migraines, and sinus pain since childhood… then anemia, anxiety, “brain fog”, and stomach/intestinal pains came into my life in college and in my mid-20s. Frustrated with these issues, I set out to discover why my seemingly healthy lifestyle was not working in my favor. I soon found out through my own reading/research/testing that I had a gluten sensitivity, several other food sensitivities (through the MRT test), and a handful of micronutrient deficiencies (through Spectracall Micronutrient Testing). By eliminating my offending foods, replenishing my nutrient levels where I was deficient, and healing my digestive tract, I now feel like a new person! No more daily meds for headaches or sinus pain. No more being doubled over with stomach pains. I can now read and not have to reread things over and over because I cannot concentrate.
It’s my passion for nutrition and helping others which motivates me run a business providing the best care, support, & education as possible. Obviously, there’s only so much we can do in one session, but the more time we spend, the more you will learn about nutrition, your specific needs, practical tips & meal planning guidance, etc. I feel SO strongly that nutrition can help so many different areas of our lives. We truly can HOLD on to our HEALTH through proper diet.
